Before buying a home, you want to know what condition the wiring is in. After renovation, you may need an inspection report. An inspection of your apartment, house or equipment provides findings you can use to plan further electrical work.
What needs inspecting?
Apartment and house wiring
The inspection technician checks the installation and records the findings. For an apartment, the result is usually a revizní zpráva: the Czech electrical inspection report describing the condition and any issues identified. If a building manager, insurer or another organisation has requested it, share their requirements before the visit.
Start an apartment enquiry with a panel photo
Send a photo of the accessible front of the electrical panel via WhatsApp or email. Leave protective covers in place. You do not need to count circuits or work out the inspection scope yourself. A photo helps prepare the quote; the inspection itself takes place at the property.
Solar electrical installations
You can request an inspection of an existing solar electrical installation. Describe the system and share the documents you have. The technician will confirm how to prepare and issue the inspection document. Solar installation and repair work are outside this service.
Lightning protection
An inspection of the building’s lightning-protection system, with a document recording the findings. Details of the building, access to the system and any previous inspections help prepare the visit.
Electrical appliances
Inspections are available for electrical appliances, including large domestic and commercial equipment and vending machines. List the types of equipment and approximate quantities so the scope and price can be assessed.

Before buying: inspection or consultation
A pre-purchase electrical inspection provides a report on the installation. If you have specific questions without needing a formal conclusion, you can book a paid site assessment and consultation, for example about wiring for a future renovation. A consultation does not replace an inspection report.
How much does an inspection cost?
Each inspection is quoted individually according to the property or equipment and the checks required. ELITEK agrees the total price and payment arrangements before you book. The ordinary electrical installation tariff does not apply to inspections.
Addressing issues found during inspection
ELITEK can assess the electrical work needed to address the report’s findings and provide a quote. Remedial work is ordered separately from the inspection.

- The apartment, house, premises or equipment to be checked and the reason for the inspection.
- For an apartment, a photo of the panel front is useful. Keep protective covers in place. You can enquire without a photo.
- Any previous report or requirements from the organisation requesting the inspection.
