Yes. Share the model or product link and the number of fittings. Assembly adds to the labour time; a heavy fitting may need an extra pair of hands.
Light fitting and chandelier installation in Prague
Chandelier assembly, mounting and electrical connection. When replacing a light fitting, removal and disposal of the old one are included in the work.
The chandelier is still in its box, with pages of instructions for the hanging decorations. Or an old light fitting needs replacing. You can book the whole job: assembly, mounting on the ceiling or wall, and electrical connection.
Light fittings for different locations
We install ceiling and pendant fittings, wall lights, recessed and track lighting, and outdoor fittings. ELITEK can also assemble chandeliers with decorative parts. If you are still choosing a fitting, a photo of the location and a product link help assess the installation.
Four details for preparing the installation
Model and assembly
Send a product link or photo. For a chandelier with decorative parts, say whether it is assembled and how many fittings need installing.
Installation position
Ceiling, wall or another location. A wider photo shows the connection point and working space.
Height and access
An approximate height is enough to start. Mention difficult access beforehand.
Mounting surface
Concrete, plasterboard or another material affects the fixings. Say if you do not know what the surface is.
Mounting on the ceiling or wall
The fitting and mounting surface determine how it is secured. Share the model, approximate height and surface material to help prepare. Unsure what is behind the finish? Send a photo and describe the location. Special access for high ceilings or a heavy chandelier is arranged beforehand.
Replacing an old light fitting
We remove the old fitting and install the new one at the prepared position. Taking away and disposing of the replaced fitting are included in the work. Moving the light requires a separate assessment of the new lighting point and wiring. LED strips with profiles have their own installation service.
Installation and assembly costs
The cost depends on assembly, mounting and access. Fixings are charged as materials. If a helper, tall ladder or access lift is needed, the arrangements and extra charges are agreed before booking. Call-out within Prague: 800 Kč. Labour: 800 Kč/hour. The minimum visit charge is 1600 Kč, covering the call-out and first hour. Materials are charged at purchase cost without markup; parking is extra. ELITEK is not VAT-registered. Payment is due after the work.
If you would like to keep the fitting
You can ask for an assessment of whether repair is possible. It depends on the fault and the fitting. The charge for diagnosis or an attempted repair is agreed before work starts. If repair is impractical or unsuccessful, replacement can be considered.

Removal and disposal of the fitting being replaced are included in the work. Let us know beforehand if you would prefer to keep it.
