New sockets and circuitsA socket has come loose, a faceplate has cracked, or you want new switches after decorating. You can replace one fitting or several around the apartment. Before fitting them, we check the connections and compatibility of the new products.
Replacing sockets in their current positions
We remove the old socket, assess the connection and fit a suitable replacement. Use your own products or ask ELITEK to purchase them. With aluminium wiring, the feasibility of a local replacement is checked on site. A damaged cable needs repair as well as a new socket.
Switches and matching faceplates
The switch must suit the existing lighting controls, and the faceplate must match the product range. An external photo helps if you do not know the name. A dimmer or smart switch can also be fitted after checking compatibility with the existing connection.
Several fittings around the apartment
List everything you want to update, such as bedroom sockets and hallway switches. Matching mechanisms and faceplates can be selected for a consistent finish. Moving a fitting requires wiring to the new position; see the additional sockets and circuits service.
When fault finding comes first
Mention any overheating, burning smell or intermittent lighting when you enquire. The cause needs checking first. The findings will show whether replacing the fitting is enough or the wiring needs repair. Any work to restore the surrounding wall is assessed separately.
Socket and switch replacement costs
Call-out within Prague: 800 Kč. Labour: 800 Kč/hour. The minimum visit charge is 1600 Kč, covering the call-out and first hour. Materials are charged at purchase cost without markup; parking is extra. ELITEK is not VAT-registered. Payment is due after the work. The time needed depends on the number of fittings and the condition of their connections. Include them all in one enquiry to help prepare materials and estimate the work. If a fault requires a wider repair, we agree the next steps before proceeding.

Either is welcome. Book a single replacement or list the fittings at one address. An approximate quantity and a description of their condition are enough to start.
